Data deletion
What this page is for
If you connected a Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn or TikTok account to Novompo, the service IGS Consult uses for its online shops, this page explains how to remove the connection and have the data we hold about it deleted. What we hold, and why, is described in the privacy policy.
Remove the connection in the administration tool
Anyone operating the shop can disconnect the account in the shop's administration tool, under Marketing, Connections. The access tokens are deleted at once and nothing more is published to the account.
Remove the app in the platform's settings
You can also remove Novompo from the platform directly. At the time of writing the settings are found here; the platforms move them from time to time:
- Facebook and Instagram: in Facebook, Settings and privacy, Settings, Business integrations — select Novompo and remove it. Meta tells us, and we delete the access tokens.
- X: Settings and privacy, Security and account access, Apps and sessions, Connected apps — select Novompo and revoke its access.
- LinkedIn: Settings, Data privacy, Permitted services — select Novompo and remove it.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Manage app permissions — select Novompo and remove it.
Ask for the data to be deleted
On Facebook, when you remove Novompo you can also ask for your data to be deleted. Meta passes the request to us, we delete the connection and every record of it, and Meta gives you a confirmation code. The link that comes with the code shows the status of your request.
For any platform, you can write to support@igs-consult.com or call the telephone number in the legal notice, saying which account you connected. We confirm when the deletion is done, at the latest within one month.
What is deleted, and what is not
Deleted: the access and posting tokens, your identifier and name on the platform, the permissions you granted, and the list of Pages and accounts we received from the platform.
Not deleted by us: posts already published, which stay on the platform until they are removed there — Instagram posts can only be removed in the Instagram app; records of posts published for a shop, which it keeps as business records; and anything we are required by law to keep.
